A huge week from team 7 bumping them 2 places up the leader board by picking up big position points in both RX and scaled divisions this week! 

But can anyone pull it out of the bag this week and jump ahead of pace setters team 4!!?? 

Participation points are going to be vital this week for final placings!! 
Our Spirit points for last week were awarded to… 
Abi for taking the lead and organising an amazing buffet!! Louise batty for completing the workout in another affiliate while away with work.. Using road signs and sand filled wall balls to get it done! 

Anna McNally for overcoming fears and going RX last min and getting a fab score finishing 5th in the WOD! Finally Tracy Davies for smashing an awesome score topping the women’s leaderboard! despite not long having shoulder surgery and more importantly only just mastering efficient RX HSPU last week!

2015 Goals
Another Busy night at the box, with our athletes really showing the drive and determination it’s going to take to reach their Personal Strength, health and fitness Goals set for 2015. The Goals board will soon be added to the box, with 3 month, 6 month and 12 month targets to be set! Let’s start raising our aspirations and not settle for just getting fitter, let’s be the fittest, fastest and strongest we can be!

A change to Warrior Wednesday

In preparation for the 2015 Open and Affiliate Cup we are changing Warrior Wednesdays to …….
“Open WOD Wednesdays” for the next few weeks. In these sessions we will be re visiting some of the most gruelling Open qualifying Workouts from the last few years, looking at tactics and how best to approach them if something similar presents itself this coming February!
As always there will be varying levels of the workout, scaled to suit every individual athlete!
The first one starts tomorrow….
Look forward to seeing you all there!!

The Countdown is on…
In just a few hours the first workout will be released for the 2014 Crossfit Open! But more importantly for our Celtic Warriors, it also means the announcement of the first workout of our Celtic Affiliate Cup Competition!
Computerised scoring and league tables have been created and the weekly athlete score board has been added to the white board!

Membership Announcement
We are piloting a new membership system from March, it will require ALLour members to go to the following address.. Www.celticcrossfit.frontdeskhq.com and create an account. You will also need to fill in the information required and sign the online waiver! This system will hopefully make things easier for you as members and us as coaches moving forward! Thanks for taking the time to do this!

An amazing effort by our Celtic Warriors hitting the first Open Workout of 2013 very hard!! The box was buzzing! And we saw some big PR’s in the snatch!, even after hitting all those burpees and lighter snatches first.. Just goes to show what you can achieve in that environment! With your community behind you! We will be open tomorrow 9:30-12pm and Sunday morning 11:30-12:30pm for others to take their turn at hitting it! Bring your A Game and hit the burpees hard!

With the Open just around the corner, this week will be dedicated to hitting some Open WOD’s from previous years. Tonight saw the return of Open WOD 11.3 “Death by Clean & Jerk”, after we hit a big box weakness and all round suck-fest!! 400m intervals! YUCK!!
An amazing effort tonight by everyone! And a great turn out even after our Throwdown with Crossfit Caerphilly yesterday!
