21.8.15 #theseven

our #celticteens class continued to impress with their improvement and hard work over the summer paying off. With some great Deadlifting by our youngest ‘Team Doff’ #celticwarrior Joe

Followed by our #celticwarriors finishing off a challenging week with a Friday Hero WOD and some great efforts across the box

WOD

Well done to all finishing the week with a good sweaty Hero

Well done to Tracy repeating her HSPU’s

Erika continuing to improve with the fastest scaled time combined with quality movement.

The big man Drewy with fastest time of the day

Biggest mention goes to Stu who in his time with us so far has  transformed his physical ability already. With his achievement today testament to his willingness to listen and learn and the amount of bloody hard work he has put into every session at the gym. Not only getting his first HSPU’s but also his very first pull-up, which he then followed with another 49 in the Workout.

Well done. Inspired stuff Stu #CelticWarrior

 The  WOD and the aftermath-

Great Sweatfest on a Thursday with Hero WOD ‘Jack’ doing what Hero WODs do. A ton of work and a test of capacity and mental resolve.

Before which we had a test of another kind- 3 RM Front Squat belt less.

Providing PR lifts and previous PR lifts for reps for many #celticwarriors including Jo.

With Owen, Maria, Tei all getting in on the action before breakfast. With too many to mention in the PM. Matt, Emma, Kris, Katie, Nicola, Lorna, Doffy and son Jo getting on the bandwagon. Great lifting by Aimee with plenty in reserve. And a welcome back to Boxhead father to far more talented young Warrior Max!

Last but not least at all Little Rob with an almost 2x BW front squat for 3!!

Another AWESOME Celtic CrossFit Day.

They shall grow not old
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
