2.5.16 #bankholiday

We started off the week in the best way possible, a long, sweaty hero WOD. Whitten was the hero we paid homage too.

Dan Whitten |  Age 28  |  Grimes, Iowa

Army Captain Dan Whitten, 28, of Grimes, Iowa, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, based out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, died February 2, 2010, when enemy forces in Zabul, Afghanistan, attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device. Whitten is survived by his wife, Starr Whitten, his mother, Jill Whitten, his father, Dan Whitten, and his sister, U.S. Army Captain Sarah Whitten.

Amazing atmosphere today all round. Class 1 getting up nice and early to smash the workout. Mentions to Sam for smashing the workout after a weekend in Germany on a stag!! Bryn, Rachael, Sharon and Nat Tanner for pushing through and finishing before the time cap to get a score!

Same for Doffy, Paul, Kelly, Carlo, Lee, Parky, Matthew and James, in class 2 and everyone not letting the rain slow them down showing the spirit and determination all our Celtic Warriors have.
