THE BACK SQUAT

There is simply no other exercise, and certainly no machine, that produces the level of central nervous system activity, improved balance and coordination, skeletal loading and bone density enhancement, muscular stimulation and growth, connective tissue stress and strength, psychological demand and toughness, and overall systemic conditioning than the correctly performed full squat.”

  1. Nice rack CelticCrossFit! Or racks!!

Interesting effect on the picture Jonesy. Had no idea you were so artistically talented!

    WoD @ 100kg: 6:40, should’ve run faster!!
    TABATA: 17

  2. WOD 5:35 @ 80kg

Great WOD (back squats are definitely my favourite) even though my legs were like jelly for the first few steps in the run.

Next time I will definitely increase the weight as this was well below my PB, but I wanted my technique to come before the weight.

  3. WOD: 7.50 @ 100kg only managed 23 reps in the time cap but happy with it, cheers to Geeves for the encouragement.

    Tabata: 11
